Binomo review for Kenyan traders
Binomo accepts Kenyan traders with a $10 minimum deposit, a $1 minimum trade and a maximum payout of 90%. This review sets out the platform, the payment routes that work from Kenya, and the licence record behind the broker.
Figures checked 19.10.2026What Binomo offers Kenyan traders
Binomo is a fixed-time trading platform available on Android, iOS and the web through its own Binomo platform. Kenyan traders can open an account from $10, and each trade starts at $1. The maximum payout on a successful trade is 90%.
Fixed-time trading means you choose a direction and a time frame, and the outcome is settled when that time expires. The payout is known before you place the trade, but the result is not. No payout percentage changes the fact that a trade can finish out of the money.
For Kenyan traders, the practical point is the entry cost. A $10 deposit and $1 minimum trade keep the barrier low, but the maximum payout of 90% is below what some other platforms list. Deriv shows up to 100%, Quotex up to 98%, and Pocket Option up to 92%.
The platform itself is proprietary, so you will not find Binomo inside MetaTrader or TradingView. That matters if you already use those tools and want to keep your charting and order flow in one place.
Deposits and withdrawals from Kenya
The reference routes for Kenyan traders are M-Pesa, bank transfer, cards and USDT. M-Pesa is the most common way to fund an account here, usually through a payment partner rather than the broker directly. Bank transfer works through PesaLink or a standard transfer from any local bank.
Cards are Visa and Mastercard, subject to your bank's international limit. When a card is declined, USDT is usually the fastest alternative, most often on TRC-20.
Binomo does not publish a single withdrawal time that applies to every Kenyan account. What the reference confirms is the deposit minimum of $10 and the routes above. Withdrawal speed depends on the method, the payment partner and verification.
Before you deposit, check which payment partner handles the M-Pesa leg and whether their fees differ from the broker's own terms. The shilling amount you send will also move with the exchange rate against the dollar.
Licence record and what it means in Kenya
Binomo's licence on record is IFC (FinaCom) Category A. That is a financial commission membership, not a national securities regulator. We hold no regulator warnings against Binomo on our record.
In Kenya, the Capital Markets Authority licenses online forex brokers and money managers. It does not license fixed-time (binary) trading. That means no fixed-time platform operating in Kenya holds a CMA licence for that activity, because the category itself is outside the CMA's remit.
For comparison, Deriv holds licences from the MFSA, Labuan FSA and VFSC. Pocket Option holds a licence from MISA (Mwali). Quotex and Exnova have no licence found in any register we read. BinaryCent carries warnings from the VFSC, CFTC, AMF and FMA NZ.
What follows for a Kenyan trader is that the IFC membership gives you a dispute route, not the same protection as a national regulator. If something goes wrong, the body you can turn to is FinaCom, not the CMA.
How Binomo compares on cost
Binomo's $10 minimum deposit puts it level with Quotex, IQ Option, Olymp Trade, Expert Option and Exnova. Deriv is cheaper to enter at $5, and Pocket Option also starts at $5. BinaryCent sits far above the rest at $250.
The $1 minimum trade is standard across most of the list. Only Deriv goes lower at $0.35, and BinaryCent goes down to $0.10 per trade, though its high deposit makes that less relevant for a first-time Kenyan trader.
On payout, Binomo's 90% maximum is at the lower end. Pocket Option and BinaryCent list 92%, IQ Option and Olymp Trade and Expert Option list 95%, Quotex lists 98%, and Deriv lists 100%. A higher maximum payout does not mean a higher chance of winning; it only sets the ceiling on what a successful trade returns.
- Binomo: $10 deposit, $1 trade, 90% payout
- Deriv: $5 deposit, $0.35 trade, 100% payout
- Pocket Option: $5 deposit, $1 trade, 92% payout
- Quotex: $10 deposit, $1 trade, 98% payout
- IQ Option: $10 deposit, $1 trade, 95% payout
What to check before you trade
The figures on this page were checked on 19.10.2026, with the next check due on 18.11.2026. Minimum deposits, payouts and licence records change, so treat any number as a snapshot rather than a permanent term.
Tax is a separate question from trading. The Kenya Revenue Authority is the tax authority in Kenya, and any profit you take from fixed-time trading may be reportable. The reference does not state how Binomo handles Kenyan tax reporting, so confirm your own obligations with KRA or a tax adviser.
If you are defrauded through a payment route or a fake platform, the police cybercrime unit is the body to report to in Kenya. Keep records of deposits, trade history and any communication with support.
Finally, remember what fixed-time trading is. The payout is fixed, the risk is fixed, and the outcome is binary. A low minimum deposit does not change the arithmetic of a trade that can expire worthless.
